The cemetery is a hub of wildlife, including of course a myriad of insects such as native bees. Several species of birds can be seen around the cemetery, most commonly kookaburras, friendly magpies, and the invasive Noisy Miners. At night, curlews and tawny frogmouths can be found there.
There are also mammals such as possums and an elusive fox, and various reptiles including lizards and the occasional carpet python.
Please be aware of wildlife and keep your dog on a leash when walking in the cemetery.
